JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide outstanding customer service by helping customers understand their needs, recommend storage solutions and help them acquire the needed product solutions
  • Assist reservation and walk-in customers (both in person and on the phone) in renting storage units, understanding the lease terms, fees and insurance and completing lease agreements
  • Consult, sell, and up sell to customers merchandise such as boxes, tape and other appropriate products that meet their needs
  • Ensure the appearance of the property is customer ready by cleaning units, sweeping, mopping, removing debris, wiping windows, etc...; ultimately ensure property appearance is safe and welcoming
  • Work in one or more locations, independently or with another manager
  • Manage, verify, balance cash drawer; prepare and make daily deposits
  • Conduct a daily physical storage unit inspection confirming inventory availability and ensuring each unit is secure or ready to rent.
  • Work closely with District Manager to receive training and coaching when needed, striving to exceed all company expectations

Manufacturing Engineer

Details: Established Western Arkansas Manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer.This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for Supporting the manufacturing operations in the assigned area by planning the practices of manufacturing, researching and developing the tools, processes, machines, and equipment required and integrating the facilities and systems for producing quality parts with optimum expenditure. The Manufacturing Engineer’s assigned areas of responsibility will be of a difficult nature and will involve the most technical equipment, tooling, and processes.Job responsiblities include: Define methods, work place layout, special tools, jigs, and fixtures, standard hand tooling, material flow and operation flow charts for assigned areas. Define, specify, purchase and/or fabricate special tooling, assembly fixtures and transport fixtures, including appropriation requests for the areas assigned. Prepare, release, and maintain general and special operator instructions related to equipment, processes, and methods affecting products manufactured in the areas assigned. Provide the department’s unit leader with technical and administrative assistance on floor problems related to methods, tooling, equipment, material, and instructions for the areas assigned. Prepare and release purchase requisitions and work orders required to support shop activity, including subsequent assistance to, and follow up with, the MRO Purchasing Department and the vendor. Implement and coordinate special products defined by the annual capital plant and/or routine process or production problems. Review all change notices affecting the area assigned and coordinating the changes with staff and line functions to ensure that the change is implemented properly.  Coordinate all changes affecting methods, processes, equipment, tooling, and miscellaneous procedures with the Engineering Manager and other engineering personnel whose area of responsibility will be affected by the change. Achieve that portion of the departmental cost reduction quota assigned by the Engineering Manager. Routinely monitor shop personnel and equipment operation to ensure that the prescribed methods and procedures are being followed and take immediate corrective actions when improper methods and operations are observed in the areas assigned. Develop and maintain manufacturing engineering records of sufficient detail to support the manufacturing engineering activities related to the areas assigned.
