Details: Job Classification: Contract Our client is looking for ISDs to work on Federal government projects in Northern Virginia. ISD will work on federal government projects and be required to design and develop complex, diverse instructional systems design projects, including paper-based and computer-based formats, using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) model. ISD will develop instructionally valid training, testing, and post-training evaluation materials by analyzing and interpreting user requirements, technical specifications, application features, and functions to translate them into appropriate training formats. ISD should have the ability to use a formal structured approach to designing and developing training materials in various formats, such as for classroom training, computer based training, e-learning and web-based courses, demonstrations, and presentations.Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design/Technology, five years of experience in the area of instructional design/technology or related field, plus demonstrated ability in multimedia development, software analysis, design, programming for web based environments, technology support and comprehensive instructional design (such as active/student-centered learning, authentic assessment, multiple learning styles, information literacy, and relevant use of technology). Applicants must have practical knowledge of media technology and instructional design theory; experience and competence with media development tools and course management systems.Preferred qualifications include experience using formative and summative evaluation methodologies; performing analysis of evaluation and assessment data; prior experience in higher education with a background in course design for varying modes of delivery such as face-to-face, blended and/or online; and a strong work ethic. ISD candidate should have experience with Adobe development tools, specifically Captivate, and be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint. Essential Duties/Responsibilities will include:- Assist in planning, analysis, design, development, deployment and evaluation of learning materials. - All materials have to meet SCORM/AICC compliance standards. - Candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects within deadlines. - Analyze content, target audience, job tasks, and learner environment to identify appropriate instructional strategies and define learning objectives and performance measures. - Analyze input of Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to develop and modify instructional material. - Identify user needs, analyze and logically organize complex technical information, including industry text and manuals, and transform complex bodies of information into professionally designed, engaging and effective programs. - Develop training materials for both instructor led and web-based learning opportunities. - Convert existing volumes of instructor-led material to concise, effective, streamlined online or blended delivery format. Aviation-Sheet Metal Mechanic
Details: Job Classification: Contract Our client, located in Rome, NY is seeking Sheetmetal Mechanic to join their team. JOB DUTIES:- Responsible to perform sheet metal, parts fabrication, and composite repairs.- Ensure that the appropriate tag is attached to all parts removed from an aircraft in accordance to company policy.- Maintain and/or repair body or structure of aircraft according to specifications.- Assist in providing OJT to the other less-experienced A&P Mechanics and Technicians should they be assigned to his/her task by the Aircraft Manager for providing initial, recurrent, specialized, or remedial training.- Execute the applicable forms that comprise the record of work in an accurate, professional and precise manner. All forms entries required shall be completed.- Reinstall repaired or replacement parts for subsequent riveting or welding, using clamps and wrenches.- Responsible to abide by all safety regulations and procedures established by management in regard to use of proper personal protective equipment, rules regarding heavy lifting limits, hazmat exposure, and human factors in maintenance.- Must be able to use all tech data and aircraft drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs. - Must be able to accomplish cold working, flap preening, etc.- Clean, strip, prime, and sand structural surfaces and materials prior to bonding.- Repair or fabricate defective sections or parts, using metal fabricating machines, saws, brakes, shears, and grinders.- Remove or cut defective parts. Drill holes to gain access to internal defects or damage, using drill and punch.- Perform other duties and cross utilization of skills as directed.Will be performing parts fabrication, taking the blueprint and cutting out and making the part.
