INTERNSHIP SUMMARY:
The engineering internship provides a current engineering student the opportunity to apply their education to practical experience within the food manufacturing environment. The engineering intern will work on Maintenance projects related to the Plants efficiencies and will identify opportunities to reduce downtime issues associated with the preventative maintenance program and MRO ordering. The engineering intern will apply learned problem solving skills and process improvement techniques to directly impact the success of the Plant in relation to several key performance indicators.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Internship could include some or all of the following areas:
- Conduct design of experiments on various maintenance process within the Plant
- Identify opportunities and recommend solutions to reduce downtime within the maintenance process at the Plant
- Work with current MRO personnel on ordering and inventory of the stock room.
- Work with the Maintenance planers to assist with implementing an effective maintenance planning process operated through the Plant’s maintenance planning software, MP2

Daily Tasks- Researches and answers Property Managers’ questions regarding tenant statements.
- Reviews and approves work such as tenant credit memos, non-recurring tenant billings and questionable cash receipts for entry by Accounting Clerks.
- Prepares security deposit refund invoices and delivers to Accounts Payable department.
