Construction Manager
Details: Job Classification: Contract Provide full estimating services including final close out, subject to final review on large size projects of high complexity, giving administrative and technical direction to ensure that corporate objectives are met. Perform design/build, engineer, produce, construction management, guaranteed maximum price, and hard-bid estimates/proposals including final close out. Analyze quotations both prior to and on bid day. Evaluate bids of sub-contractors and suppliers for completeness of scope of work, delivery time, and compliance with the specifications and other requirements. Enter quantity take-off's in Timberline, material unit pricings as applicable to project. Recognize and apply appropriate work breakdown structure (WBS). Ability to process and identify complete scope of project with limited levels of design definition. Mentor, train and lead teams of Co-ops, construction specialist's, estimator II and senior estimators in their duties, in estimating procedures, and in the use of estimating software. Review and close out of estimates prepared by senior estimators--responsible for transmitting/communicating final estimate and basis to internal/ external client. Prepare opinions of probable construction cost estimates and design/build and ability to close out proposal or bids for at risk work.
