We are seeking designers who will be responsible for the generation and maintenance of designs for industrial equipments in Solidworks. They are currently transferring drawings from AutoCAD to Solidworks. This designer will work closely with mechanical engineers in developing industrial machinery, mainly geared around industrial filters or recycling equipment. Candidates will be involved in each stage of the design process. That process will flow as follows: Drew will work up the drawing, sends to be detailed/tweaked/modified, then comes back to Drew for approval and is then sent out to design shops for quotes. All equipment is custom made and that should appeal to the right candidate. 70% of time will be spent designing with Drew and rest of team. Candidates must be hands on (for example, when the Mech Services Tech comes back from an installation, candidates will need to work with him to alleviate issues or to come up with feasible designs for the next installation).-The candidate must be experienced with parts/compenents, sheet metal, assemblies, and drawings in SolidWorks. -The candidate should be familiar with sheet metal (14 gauge versus 20 gauge for example), component selection and application (bearings, motors, reducers, chains, etc), and be familiar enough with manufacturing and fabrication processes to understand what is capable of being built.-Generate detailed part, assembly and layout drawings for industrial equipment using SolidWorks.-Generate layout drawings, and modify existing designs in AutoCad.-Work with mechanical engineers to create new designs from the initial concept stage, and tomodify/update existing designs.-Convert existing AutoCad drawings into SolidWorks.-Assist engineers in the selection of components (bearings, belts, sheaves, etc)-Assist shop personnel in interpreting designs and drawings.-Utilize PDM (Product Development Management) system in conjunction with CAD systems.-Experience in other industries (furniture design, store-front layout design, etc) does not apply. Someone who has modeled hundreds of parts and assemblies, but never worked with sheet metal, or created drawings would not be a good fit for example.? 5+ years experience with industrial equipment design? Job Duties (include but are not limited to) Greeting prospective residents and providing them with property tours Processing lease applications and qualifying residents Supporting the Property Manager with general office maintenance by answering phones and performing other administrative tasks Qualifications: 1-2 years office experience, preferably in a property management office High School Diploma, some college preferred Customer service, goal-oriented mindset Computer proficiency and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with residents and customers in a professional manner Low Income Housing Tax Credit experience preferred KETTLER offers a competitive salary with bonus incentives based on individual as well as property performance.
