Senior RFP Specialist

The RFP Knowledgebase for all Merge products includes detailed responses to commonly asked questions. Details: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, the GFE/RMA Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all functions regarding Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), establishing GFE locations, and supporting the RMA process. This position will also have extensive customer contact. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. GFE Coordinator Functions:• Develop and maintain Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) based on L3-GCS procedure 754-001 Customer Property.• Develop, improve, and maintain GFE database.• Track all customer property in and out of the facility. • Ensure L3-GCS GFE program complies with all applicable regulations.• Assign a RMA number and enter system and warranty data appropriately into TipQA database. RMA Coordinator Functions: • Tag returned equipment when it arrives in Shipping Department and notify appropriate Technicians. RMA form is completed and information is logged into database.• Complete MSR form if equipment must go to vendor for repairs, provide feedback on MSR status to customers and management.• Quote to customer the needed part and labor numbers as well as prices for parts, labor and freight. Ask for the customer’s method of payment and enter into database.• Receive TSAR form if repairs are complete and enter information into database.• Complete Sales Order Checklist and give folder to finance for shipment and enter information into database.• Track Purchase Order status• Run validation reports and provide accurate customer quotes.
