Project Coordinator - Credit

Details: POSITION OBJECTIVE This position is responsible for financial reporting, processing, analysis, and planning. This position is also expected to make recommendations for improving business decisions and processes to ultimately result in improved sales and profitability. This position will also work with Bank Services vendors to obtain and share information related to new vendor set-up and reporting. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide Reporting for Enhancement Services and Mastercard/Visa Merchant Acquiring Bank Relationships Create, update, maintain and communicate vendor marketing and sales performance reports. Research, evaluate and analyze current marketplace trends. Summarize findings and reports to leadership. Compile and analyze financial information for Bank Services; prepare periodic (monthly, quarterly, weekly) variance analysis explaining actual results and variances compared to prior period or plan. Communicate findings to Sr. Executive Management as appropriate. Assist with the Credit Systems set up and maintenance of reporting. Conduct Financial Analysis Analyze and interpret data for assigned business unit; ensure financial information has been recorded accurately. Apply working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verify documents for completeness ensuring data integrity before presentation of findings. Perform ad hoc analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements within the work area to management resulting in increased revenue and/or reduction of expense. Extract financial data from various accounting and information systems such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages and graphic packages to assemble, manipulate, and format data and reports. Vendor Outreach Assist with the resolution of customer issues related to enhancement services products. Assist with the communication plan development for customers with enhancement service products. Maintain and communicate vendor sales performance reports, partnering with the vendor to obtain and share information when applicable. Assist with the scheduling of enhancement services calendar events, including new vendor testing and distribution. Analyze Bank Services vendor invoices and payments. Assist with the on-boarding of new vendors including systems set up and maintenance, partnering with Credit Systems. Support Corporate Partnerships Establish and maintain influential relationships with corporate and internal partners. Coordination of cross-functional departments to facilitate and communicate new initiatives and project development.
