Mandate The Trust Administrator I will assist the Estate Settlement Services Administrator(s) in carrying out the death-related duties of a decedent’s estate/trust by complying with the terms of the governing instruments (Will/Trust), applicable federal/state laws and internal Bank procedures.   Key Accountabilities • Provide information and documentation needed to open and close ESS accounts through ATS. • Review and have basic understanding of terms of governing instrument (ability to identify beneficiaries, co-fiduciaries, and personal representatives, dispositive provisions, etc.). • Collect assets and obtain date of death valuations.   • Assist in preparation of ESS binders for residuary beneficiaries. • Monitor claims and bill payments. • Assist administrator/director to ensure timely filing of federal and applicable death tax returns, income tax returns (decedent’s final 1040), and 1041s. • Arrange for distributions and delivery of decedent’s personal property. • Communicate with beneficiaries as may be needed. • Identify risk management issues to  escalate to Estate Settlement Services Administrator (and to Manager if necessary). • Adhere to BMO Harris Bank N.A. policies and procedures.

27D Paralegal Specialist

Your training will enable you to research court decisions and Army regulations, process legal claims and appeals, and prepare records of hearings, investigations, court-martials and courts of inquiry. In the civilian world, Paralegal Specialists may be referred to as legal assistants, clerks, paralegal assistants, and court clerks or recorders.
