Details: Summary: This position will be responsible for migrating hundreds of physical and virtual Windows servers using obsolete Windows 2000 and 2003 OS versions and their associated applications to a VMware ESX 5.x environment running the latest Windows 2008 R2 and 2012 OS versions. The successful candidate will have experience with driver and application software issues that accompany this change in OS version and conversion to the VMware virtual environment. All candidates must have strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012 beta capabilities. The engineer will create new templates, build plans, and create sets of templates in vCloud Director that other junior engineers will use to rapidly create dozens of systems at once.
