CAD Drafter

Details: Precision Resource Company is currently seeking a CAD Drafter for a 2+ year contract position located in Fort Worth, TX. This position is accountable for creating PowerPoint exhibits utilizing images generated with MicroStation and Paint Shop Pro, from preliminary layouts, notes, diagrams, verbal instructions and/or other data. The incumbent also supports the Transmission Engineering Services Department objectives of meeting a diverse clientle group.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:• Provide timely creation of engineering drawings required to implement engineering designs.• Use Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CADD) tools including Microstation, IRAS-B, PROJECTWISE, IPLOT, and other software developed or acquired to automate the drawing creation process.• Create PowerPoint exhibits utilizing images generated with MicroStation and Paint Shop Pro.• Create hybrid vector/raster aerial maps, location maps, & topographic maps.• Prepare electrical schematic and wiring diagrams and electrical physical drawings.• Prepare structural plans, details and shop drawings as needed to support structural design.• Prepare mechanical or electromechanical equipment drawings with geometric dimensioning as defined by ANSI.• Develop plan and profile drawings, relief maps, and other civil drawings using engineer or field surveyor notes.• Convert existing drawings to electronic format by efficient use of scanning and hybrid raster/vector technology.• Update engineering drawings of record as defined by project, construction, or engineers to reflect as-built status.• Develop, update or modify CADD cell libraries, menus, reference files, plotter pen tables, programs as needed to improve drawing creation efficiency.• Support the drawing and drawing project control functions as needed.- Background in Mapping would be a plus

Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Details: Local company in search of a Quality Engineer. This is a contract job, temp to hire 90 days. 1st shift.Scope of Work: Perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for process related concerns.  Develop and maintain PFMEA and Flow Diagram documents. Work with Quality Assurance Manager to assist in the development and maintenance of Control Plan documents. Participate in the APQP process for new product launches as assigned. Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to production of new products are in accordance with approved process sign-off data. Plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing process. Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing process. Work across functional lines for continuous process improvements and cost reduction. Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.  Develop training to build quality awareness.   Work with vendors in determining product specifications and evaluating products according to quality standards and specifications.   Provide engineering support to production department to trouble shoot and resolve technical issues. Support company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and good manufacturing practices.
