Lead process of sourcing automation equipment and determining processes to be used. Design reviews, automation development, tracking, on-time delivery and buy-off. Oversee build schedule and ensure customer requirements are met on time. Follow up at shops from placement through sample submission and buy-off with plant and be responsible for all aspects of the process at weekly engineering meetings and to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager as applicable. Maintain supplier confidence and cooperation. Reinforce supplier responsibility. Assist in F.M.E.A. pre-production planning and initial samples.
