Training Manager

Details: For over 40 years Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development (TCYD) has provided services to homeless and at-risk youth in our community. TCYD touches the lives of over 3,000 youth every year. We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Training Manager. This position is responsible for defining, acquiring, developing, and in many cases, delivering the appropriate training for the youth care staff of the organization.  The Training Manager will be responsible for documenting the completed training of each staff member, to assure adherence to the standards of various licensing and funding agencies, and to improve Tumbleweed’s ability to provide optimal services to our youth. Essential Duties: Review licensing and funding documents to determine initial and ongoing training requirements to meet standards. Review best practices in the youth and young adult services field, as well as the homeless field in general to determine additional training recommendations. Manage the research, development, scheduling, delivery and tracking of Tumbleweed’s training courses and programs. Design and develop training materials and programs that integrate adult learning theory, nature of training being delivered, audience location, instructional design methodology, interactive exercises and job aids in various formats (self-study, online, or classroom) within the context of business needs and constraints. Analyze the audience, content, technologies and operational constraints associated with selecting the best delivery methods for each objective to optimize design and implementation strategy. Develop, maintain and monitor a tracking system to allow reporting to funders and other entities regarding the level of training of our staff. Schedule training classes, training facilities at times and days that will allow access by most staff members, accommodating the 24/7 nature of Tumbleweed’s staffing. Personally deliver the training for many of the standard classes. Details: Seeking an Instructional Designer/Trainer to join the E-Learning Production team. We’re looking for someone to help us creating the content for our next-generation tablet-based classroom learning. Experience designing training for instructor-led facilitation and self-paced e-learning is essential. You must be passionate about tablets and mobile technology as a vehicle for content consumption and interaction. You will partner with content subject matter experts and our web programmers to convert traditional PDF-based classroom programs into our custom-built HTML learning application. This is an on-site position located in Bellevue, WA. Details: PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Corporate CAPA Engineers are assigned Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) investigations as well as Non-Conformance (NC) investigations and process activities. College Advising Specialist

Details: Position SummaryThe College Advising Specialist position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and reports directly to the Dean of Student Success. Responsibilities are to guide at-risk students’ learning journey and provide intrusive advising services to ensure academic success and program completion and will serve students throughout the NTC district.Basic Functions and Responsibilities Duties for this position will include the following:1. Provide case management to students, focusing on at-risk students. Case management to include: individual meetings, assisting with required/elective course selection, prerequisites, recommended credit load, monitoring grades, tutoring referrals, monitoring progress towards graduation, and making referrals to other college services as needed.2. Incorporate proactive intervention strategies to identify students who may benefit from advising services and initiating contact.3. Uses technology to provide information and guide students including websites, on-line chat, career software, and online resources. 4. Collaborate and communicate with program faculty on student referrals.5. Develops appropriate action plans to guide students through their program curriculum and achieve desired career goals. 6. Assist assigned students in the pursuit of career goals including: decision making, college choices, and job opportunities using a variety of resources appropriate to the students’ needs. 7. Coordinates advising activities at Regional Campuses in close cooperation with Enrollment Specialist using all available methods of service delivery.9.
