Details: CLIENT COMPANY OVERVIEWOur client is a leading Physician Practice Management company responsible for the business services for a leading University Children’s Medical Group – the largest pediatric multi-specialty group in the United States and is acclaimed for their leadership in Pediatric and Adolescent health.POSITION SUMMARYThe Medi-Cal/CCS Medical Biller & Collector performs a variety of clerical duties related to preparing, processing and collecting on Physician Medical Claims for covered expenses to private and government insurance agencies and other third party payors using the IDX billing system.  The Biller is responsible for contacting payor sources for follow-up and disposition of accounts, as well as ensuring that billings are processed in an accurate and timely manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Reviews claims for completeness of information and required documents; checks billings information and charges for correctness; types bills as necessary to include pertinent information, adjustments, late charges, and other related data. Bills insurance carriers for appropriate payments by following prescribed procedures. Collects from insurance carriers on all past due claims. Requests documentation from clinics, as appropriate. Makes adjustments or corrections on claims that were denied due to missing information or change in patient status; retypes bills as necessary or resubmits claims to appropriate personnel for follow-up activities. Maintains effective filing system of pending patient folders, billed accounts and other related materials. Checks billing information claims.  Ensures that claims are complete and accurate, and have the appropriate attachments.  Corrects claims as necessary Notes any further action needed prior to claim being mailed (e.g., requesting reports from clinic, charge ticket from Data Processing, etc.), and refers to Lead Biller for follow-up. Refers billing problems and issues with recommendations to the Lead Biller.  Stays on top of what is needed and not needed to facilitate the billing process. Gives claims to Support Clerks for signing, copying & mailing.  Receives referrals from Account Representatives and follows on appropriate action. Perform follow-up calls and written correspondence to patients and payors as needed.

Details: Our client located in Seattle is currently seeking a Senior Accounting professional with a background in inventory movement within a manufacturing and distribution environment. The candidate successful candidate will be performing complex accounting functions including; financial statements and reports, maintain accounting, budget and/or cost systems, assist customers in interpreting financial reports, prepare supporting schedules for SEC filings such as 10Q and 10K reports. Responsibilities: Maintains and develops various manufacturing accounting systems and processes including reconciling raw materials, work in process and finished goods inventory. Recommends and implements ideas and innovations to improve upon existing systems, work processes and procedures affecting month end and quarter end financial close, account analysis preparation and financial reporting. Prepares and distributes financial reports; interprets account information and reports for customers. Performs cost trend and variance analysis. Sets up and maintains accounting and fiscal control records. Creates, prepares and reviews journal entries that are accurate and compliant with company policies and applicable accounting regulations. Produces financial statements, revenue projections, cost/benefit analyses or other reports and reviews for accuracy. Reconciles accounts or reviews account reconciliations prepared by others. Requirements: 3 to 5 years of Cost Accounting experience. Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience.
