Inventory Control/Fixed Asset Accountant
Tietex International, Ltd., a leader in the textile industry, is seeking an Inventory Control/Fixed Asset Accountant to join our Spartanburg facility.
Responsibilities include the development of inventory control procedures and the audit of these procedures to ensure compliance, interface of inventory transactions to the General Ledger, month-end inventory reconciliations to the Financials, accounting of inventories to include maintaining an obsolete inventory reserve and proper valuation of these inventories. Coordinate external audit, Prepared by Client schedules and facilitate inventory audit, maintain Fixed Assets subsidiary ledger, CIP expense and Capital and Operating Lease accounting to include annual filing of Property Tax schedules, maintaining and auditing Fixed Asset ledger to physical assets. Other duties include cross training as a payroll backup. Job involves a wide range of accounting functions such as monthly journal processing and reporting as well as other ad hoc reporting as needed.
