Areas of responsibilities may include review of documents such as batch records, charts and logs, data review, incoming sampling, incoming inspections, release testing and writing SOPs. The position will provide floor support to production departments to include line clearance, in-process checks, issuance of labeling materials and assistance with investigations, deviation, change controls and CAPAs. The Quality Specialist also performs site audits as assigned and participates in customer and regulatory audits as part of the Audit Team. All activities are performed according to internal Quality System requirements, cGMP and21 CFR 210, 211 and 820 standards.Education and Experience:BA/BS in Life Sciences and a minimum of 5 years cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice)/GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)/GDP (Good Documentation Practice) audit experience. Minimum of two yrs. of experience in Quality Assurance and experience in Biotech/Pharma industries necessary. Must be able to work both independently and in team situations, often as a team leader. Document Control Specialist-Finished Packaging

Details: Department: Clinton SupportOffice: Clinton, MA Job Grade: IC2 GBU: HCPosition Summary:Works with Nypro Clinton’s document control systems  and tools following established procedures, policies and systems needed to meet the regulatory requirements for document control in a medical device company throughout the document lifecycle (author, approve, publish, revise, retire, archive) in a timely manner to meet established deadlines. Processes and controls the documentation for facilities, processes, and systems as required by the current Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) regulations and as required by the International Standards. Works with primary originators of documentation to translate the documentation into written form. Demonstrates ability in the application of requisite skills and applies additional skills and knowledge acquired through experience to perform the more complex tasks of the position. Generally receives no instructions on routine assignments while under little or no supervision. Education/Experience:BA/BS in Life Sciences and a minimum of 5 years cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice)/GDP (Good Documentation Practice) audit experience. Minimum of 2 yrs. of experience in Quality Assurance. Experience in Biotech/Pharma industries preferable. Knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) a plus.
