Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.  Coordinate and track all new and current product development within established timeline.  Assist in analyzing cost options and define total cost of item as items are sourced or contracted. Present and recommend sourcing options for new and existing product which will provide the optimal profitability. Ensure that products are being developed in a timely and accurate manner.  Any deviation from the timeline must be documented and the appropriate departments notified. Must have some working knowledge of garment development, fabric, color, finishes, measurement specs, bill of materials and guide sheets.  Process and forward information and be responsible for internal approval processes for both new and current program items within established timeline. Request samples and tech pack information internally to be used for costing. Work with all internal departments during development cycle to ensure completeness of specifications, BOM’s, sample garments and to follow objectives and timelines for product. Coordinate and track all Tech Pack requests for costing, timeliness, accuracy, and service. Using guidelines and tools established by Manager. Communicate with suppliers on product specs, changes, costing, and sampling requirements. Communicate and update all internal departments when necessary of any production changes as they occur. (Location, costing variances, capacity and equipment etc) Attend SPR (Sample Product Review) meetings. Report all results back to plants thoroughly and in timely manner. Attend all weekly department, planning, QA, SOP, and other meetings when requested
