Details: Responsibilities: Our client, a manufacturer and distributor, is looking for a Cost Accountant in Rolling Meadows, Illinois (IL). This position will be responsible for maintaining standard costs, cost variances, and accurate fixed asset records. Revenue Manager

This is a 3-4 month consulting project, with an immediate start date. Our client is located on the Mid-Peninsula, Ca.Position Summary: The Revenue Manager's specific responsibilities will primarily include the review of OEM software revenue contracts, management of the OEM reporting process, monthly close, and VSOE analysis. Our client is a rapidly growing company with opportunity for learning and professional advancement. The responsibilities are as follows: • Review contracts, primarily OEM agreements, but could involve review of Enterprise License Agreements and purchase orders as well, for potential revenue recognition issues and compliance with internal revenue policies;• Work closely with OEM Alliance Team, legal and operations to ensure proper compliance with revenue recognition rules and guidelines; • Provide revenue recognition training to OEM Alliance Team and other support functions on an ongoing basis; • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements and automating manual processes; • Manage OEM reporting and booking process; • Review OEM pricelists and OEM royalty reports for accuracy; • Responsible for global VSOE compliance and coordination of testing; • Prepare and review schedules for internal and external reporting as well as outside auditors; • Prepare certain journal entries and account reconciliations on a monthly basis; • Assist with other accounting projects/areas as necessary;• Manage Revenue Analysts who support OEM and other revenue functions.
