Direct Sales Internship

Details: We are currently seeking an Intern for our Direct Sales Team in our New York Zone. The position will be based out of our Syosset, LI location and servicing the Brooklyn, Queens and Nassau Long Island areas. Position and Program Overview Nestlé Waters North America is offering a meaningful internship to a high-potential student. They will be assigned substantive projects and receive developmental feedback to gain a better understanding of the role of Direct/Retail Sales at the world's biggest bottled water company. Over the course of a 12-16 week period this person will rotate through experiences with our Retail Sales Team, and Home & Office Sales Team. International Deposit Operations Clerk II - P/T

Details: Affiliations•Verify account information on affiliations to insure that we affiliate the correspondent person (ie. Verify signature, CIF, account #, etc).•Verify the customers are the same in the unit that it is being affiliated to.•Reject affiliations that have errors or deficiencies.  Return to Corresponding Unit, if applicable.•Affiliate accounts in the AS-400.•Handle inquires regarding affiliations.•Research and reply to CSCS cases assigned.•Review and verify all new documentation and information for International personal, commercial and corporate accounts for accuracy, completeness and compliance with BSA regulations and with policies, procedures and federal regulations.  Identify any deficiencies that may exist in all Legal Documentation (Articles of Incorporation, Corporate Resolutions, etc.) of commercial and corporate International Accounts.• Review all documentation for International Trust Accounts and coordinate their opening with the Trust’s Managers and Officers.•Review International accounts opened through the branches and personal banking for completeness and accuracy.  Report any discrepancies or missing documents to the Corresponding area.•Investigate & reply to all CSCS cases assigned. Checkbook Order•Receive and process checkbook orders through the AS-400 and Harland systems.•Log / Release orders in  the AS/400 Check system•Receive checkbooks from HARLAND and mail via courier.•Handle all phone, CSCS and e-mail inquiries regarding checkbook orders.•Open CSCS case and process maintenance for all Undeliverable Checkbooks.•Log and destroy undeliverable checkbooks under dual control.•Research & reply to all CSCS cases assigned. Fax•Receive faxes via “Fax Server”, reviews and opens a CSCS case to correspondent area.•Transmit faxes upon request.•Maintain supplies for department.•Research & reply to all CSCS cases assigned. Image File•Scan new accounts for all International units to be able to have a file for all new accounts, inclusions.•Scan daily work of incoming correspondence in order to have a complete master file in the image system.•Scan KYC, FTA and W-8BENs for all units of the group.•Change the account status of the signature cards and the master files in order to obtain corresponding account status.•Create a CSCS case for all FTA’s received in a daily basic.•Investigate and reply to CSCS cases assigned. Maintenance•Review and update all documentation and changes in customer accounts to master file to provide accurate and timely (ie. Change in address, phone, ids, change of names etc.) Information to customers and system records (for all International units).•On daily basis review CSCS, investigate, respond and update as necessary.•Review overdraft report in Nautilus on a weekly basis to adjust and close accounts under $30 New Accounts•Input all new accounts in the AS400 system.•Open and distribute daily pouches received from all different departments.•Review each document received against detail listing form, if provided to ensure all documentation that was listed was received.•Maintain logs and proof of delivery of documents received.•Research and reply to CSCS cases assigned. W8•Handle the annual mailing of W-8’s sent to all customers who’s W8BEN has already expired or will expire in the current year.•Process all W-8’s received from customers.  •Update customer W-8 forms (certificate of foreign status) in an up-to-date manner as required by the Internal Revenue Service.•Create a CSCS case for all the W-8 that are received.•Contact customers to notify that we have received an incomplete or incorrect W-8.•Investigate and reply to CSCS cases assigned. Reference Letter• Handle the reference letter issuance process in accordance to the customer/officer request.• Assist the Credit Card Department on contacting customers when discrepancies are detected on the check card applications.•Verify the issuance of drafts drawn against a customer depository relationship, and contact customers to confirm those drafts.•Contact customers with dormant accounts that cannot be activated due to discrepancies presented on the account activation request.•Coordinate and request any research or inquiry from customers with other Departments.•Investigate and reply to CSCS cases assigned.•Prepare batches for Mercantil Commercebank and Mercantil Banco Agencia Coral Gables•To identify, evaluate, monitor and make any recommendation deemed necessary to their respective Risk Management Committee in order to assess, reduce, eliminate or control any current or prospective risks to earnings or capital arising from violations of, or nonconformance with, laws, rules regulations, prescribed practices, internal policies and procedures or ethical standards.
