Details: This Position is located in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Schedule:Rotating Shift - 12:30p to 9:00p and 9:30a to 6:00pPosition Overview: Be part of a fast paced world class distribution center. Order fulfillment Representatives process customer orders from around the world from start to finish ensuring customer satisfaction and the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: (Responsibilities will vary daily based on workload to include the following: pick process, pack process, bar coding and customer support.) • Pick parts in an assigned zone, quickly and accurately • Inspect and receive product • Prepackage product for bin/emergency stock • Inspect quality of the product before prepackaging • Perform packaging tasks which include: o Review pack lists to insure correct quantities o Verify correct parts have been picked o Box product and prepare for shipping • Assemble cables and battery packs • Cut tape and reel product into sale package quantities • Shipping (Processing) • Shipping Dock • Act as a liaison between Sales, Customer Service, and PDC answering product questions. • Handle customer change-order requests when applicable. • Investigate customer complaints regarding shipment errors and update inventory stock levels • Perform inventory counts as related to customer shortage or overage complaints and update system • Other duties as assigned/required This Position is located in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

Selection is based on product offered, market ranking of supplier, customer acceptance or demand for product offered, market competitiveness, and a displayed willingness to work with Digi-Key in order to reach any established corporate goals. • Effectively manage supplier relationships and develop product lines that allow Digi-Key to grow sales revenue and increase its customer base. Establish and maintain clear and open lines of communication with each supplier in the areas of purchasing, sales, technical support, and advertising. Visit both domestic and foreign suppliers in order to fully explain current Digi-Key market strategies and ensure their position and support regarding such strategies. • Oversee and facilitate inter-departmental communication with the sales, accounting, advertising, product distribution and international departments, regarding any changes in product including costs, packaging, resell pricing, availability of product to overseas markets, technical changes, or any other change that would have an impact on customer service levels or value to customers. • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers that establish business and product resale parameters. • Direct or manage assorted tasks or projects as deemed appropriate by corporate management. • Review current processes and pursue continuous departmental improvement, which will lead to the achievement of our ultimate goal - improving customer value corporate-wide. • Travel to visit vendors, sales/rep organizations, and customers as necessary, Host select vendors for the purpose of establishing relationships and providing education regarding Digi-Key strengths This Position is located in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
