Primary Duties: The Parts Sales & Service Representative is responsible for offering excellent customer service and presenting a professional and responsive face to the customer as the representative of the Company, including: •          Customer Focused - Expresses a consistent passion to exceed customer expectations, makes customer satisfaction a priority in all business decisions•          Team Player - Resolves conflicts fairly in a spirit of cooperation.  Actively participates in achieving team objectives. Deals with setbacks constructively and proactively anticipates change•          Seeks Continuous Improvement - Relentlessly improves processes and work flows to more effectively serve the customer and reduce costs Primary Duties The Parts Sales & Service Representative is accountable for making sales calls and sales visits to develop and expand SCMH market share. Develop business-to-business relationships as well as forklift dealer relationships to help promote Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Jungheinrich, and other SCMH lift truck products and services. •          Develop and grow existing business with current customers. •          Research and qualify potential client companies •          Delivers direct Customer Support, problem solving & resolution for all customer issues. •          Delivers high levels of technical competence, product & process knowledge. Provides product and technical information as required•          Educates oneself and promotes externally all aftermarket products and services offered by the dealership•          Maintains continuous communication with Sales General Manager, PSRs, and other departments to ensure successful business transactions with customers •          Prepare quotations on products and services. Works with internal departments on billing and/or order fulfillment inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction•          Maintains accurate records of sales calls, customer files, & sales activity information. Assists in the planning and development of sales campaigns•          Maintains continuous communication with Service Department, Account Managers, and other departments to ensure successful business transactions with customers WORKING CONDITIONS Work hours are normally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Sales goals are established monthly; occasional overtime and/or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines  BENEFITSThis is a salary plus commission position. Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.•          Develop existing accounts & seek new business•          Consult & problem solve to enhance the Company’s position with existing accounts and in target areas•          Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers•          Develop sales strategies, proposals, & forecasts•          Develop & conduct product demonstrations & sales presentations•          Serve as liaison between the company and customers. Prepare quotations & customer correspondence; process orders from inception, including credit application to signing of contracts by customers•          Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, & sales activity information•          Maintain continuous communication with General Sales Manager, PSRs, and other departments to ensure successful business transactions with customers WORKING CONDITIONS Work hours are normally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
