Software Development Engineer - Computational Advertising

Manufacturing Process Engineer Level 1

Details: The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for understanding all product assembly, integration and testing from an electronic, mechanical, fluidic, optical and electro-mechanical systems perspective. Knowledge to be utilized in development of compliant MFG processes including safety, manufacturing instructions, standard operating procedures, physical organization of workspace, workstation ergonomics, and material flow.  Within development of manufacturing instructions, bottle neck processes will be identified were solutions may include validation of test fixtures, manufacturing aides or other tools worth incorporating in to the build process. Design and validation of these types of tools will be a part of the responsibility along with collaboration of the manufacturing engineering team. Complete calibration and maintenance of all test fixtures, tools and manufacturing aides. With minimal oversight the technician will utilize their interdisciplinary skills to perform independent development, troubleshooting towards all process related tasks. Coordinate with assembly associates, alignment technicians and manufacturing engineers daily in support of manual instruction and production process development. All to support a compliant and quality process. Understand engineering change control processes and implement process improvement changes in an efficient and seamless manner. Review all upcoming process changes within the change control process and prepare and coordinate appropriately. Provide training to all necessary changes and record training information. Design new test fixtures/MFG aides as needed. Complete calibration and maintenance of all tools/items and record information appropriately. Establish an effective working partnership with all departments and vendors to promote effective communication and share knowledge and experience. Test new hardware and software during development and/or validation. Hands-on assembly, test and troubleshooting of system builds as needed. Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
