We are seeking a very reliable candidate with superior phone skills and phone presence for a busy medical call center. You will receive calls from primarily a geriatric based population concerning medical claims and insurance related issues. You will respond professionally and kindly in all customer interactions. Must respond effectively to incoming calls and emails and will learn and follow prescribed processes, procedures and scripts. Additionally, you will receive, review, input and maintain selected program documents as assigned by supervisor and/or managers. Must be proficient in a database tracking system and enter and report all calls and contacts in a timely and efficient manor. Consummate integrity for HIPAA is required.
Perform other duties as requested. Strong clerical skills and 50 wpm typing is required. Experience in customer service is needed.
Hours are 8am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary duty is to provide customer service support through such activities as answering callers, responding to external customer questions and documenting call content in real time. Calls concern medical insurance queries and respect and patience is a job requirement. After training, will respond to queries concerning eligibility, and enrollment services.
Critical skills include the ability to respond effectively to incoming calls and/or emails, excellent attendance is a priority, demonstrated ability to learn and follow prescribed processes, procedures and scripts. Will also enter and report all calls and contacts and in a timely and efficient manner. Successful experience in a call center environment or similar customer service experience is needed. Must have experience being on the phones full-time. Will also perform document review, input and maintenance as assigned. Strong phone presence and a commitment to high-level customer service and HIPAA is needed.
