Details: POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for support and inquiries received from vendors. Research and validate vendor inquires; ensuring compliance is maintained within all operational business units. Serves as a liaison with other functional areas and external clients in resolving a variety of complex vendor matters. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports and responds to all inquiries received from the vendor. Researches, validates, and supports vendor claims, provide written responses to all vendor inquiries. Prepares uploads for processing payments, using formulas to calculate taxes, discounts, and vendor account reconciliation?s(s). Liaises and supports vendors, business units, buyers and all firm personnel on all payment issues. Fundamental investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry. Basic principles of banking and finance and securities industry operations. Preparing and delivering clear, effective, and professional presentations. Working with vendors/outsourcing partners. Project management and researching information. Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels. Provide a high level of internal/external customer service. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Four (4) year degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting, or equivalent, and two (2) to three (3) years prior experience in a brokerage/securities industry, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Above average Thompson/Beta systems knowledge.
