Details: Maintenance Technician II employees provide maintenance services on industrial control and electrical systems, perform mechanical repairs when required, and provide preventative maintenance services, both electrical and mechanical, on all production equipment and facilities.Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair industrial control systems, PLCs and electrical systems on all production equipment and facilities in an accurate and timely manner to maintain optimum operation. Perform Preventative Maintenance on industrial control systems, electrical systems, and mechanical systems as required to minimize breakdowns. Maintain current equipment schematics, programming and documentation to enhance equipment troubleshooting. Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs as required to maintain production efficiency. Assess equipment, process and facilities to increase efficiency, production and safety. Develop and modify, as required, PLC code for existing and new equipment. Complete projects in a timely manner so production can operate as scheduled. Maintain accurate records of spare parts usage to reduce equipment down time and coordinate needed spare parts with Sr. Technical Support Manager or Parts Room personnel. Safely and effectively operate industrial equipment (i.e. forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts). Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Comply with all Company policies and procedures, and all Federal, State, and Local regulations when performing duties.
