  • Excellent communication skills

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the area of financial and business analysis. Typically, responsible for conducting complex financial analysis projects. 
  • Possess strong business acumen in supporting both area and corporate processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a good understanding of the financial capabilities of management in the area and work with this management to continually improve these capabilities.
  • Prepare, review and analyze monthly/quarterly results including the tracking of key business and financial metrics.
  • Proactively look for efficiency opportunities within the Finance function and the Area.
  • Identify and notify Area Director Finance, Area President and appropriate managers of performance issues related to managing job budgets.

Credit & Collections Specialist-MN-67261

Details:

The Credit and Collections Specialist is responsible for collection activities related to past due group dental insurance premiums. The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively with customers and follow established collection guidelines. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Contacts group customers for the purpose of collecting past due dental insurance premiums.
  • Researches and reconciles disputed account balances.
  • Generates demand letters and other collection related correspondence.
  • Terminates group contracts for non-payment of premiums.
  • Prepares reports reflecting status of collection activities for review by management.

  • Develops and utilizes Excel spreadsheets to record balancing issues and figures.
