Elwood Staffing has a 2 month project for a packaging company in the Kentuckianna area.  These jobs are entry level and require good work ethic, excellent attendance,  clear criminal background, submission to a drug test, have the ability to work all day with your hands, and be able to stand and assemble cardboard boxes...that simple!

Shifts are 1st:  7am - 3pm.  Pay is $9/hr
                   2nd:  3pm - 11pm.  Pay is $9.25/hr
                   3rd:  11pm - 7am.  Pay is $9.35/hr

Our client, a premiere real estate services company, has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative. This is a position that is part inside sales, part outside sales, and part business development.

In this Sales position for our client your duties will include:

  • Prospecting for new leads and new clients
  • Preparing literature requests, proposals and mailings
  • Scheduling and running business meetings
  • Traveling to meet with clients and showing them your real estate products
  • Closing deals, often in person, as well as over the phone & internet
  • Performing follow up with client, always trying to assure they are happy

Our client is large global manufacturer located in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago with roughly 1B in annual revenue.   This position is a blend of both Collections (on the phone with both customers (outstanding invoices) and financial analsis and team collaboration to problem solve.  This individual will be responsible for 500 accounts

 

 

  • Review and release orders and work with other team members on open issues
  • Set customer credit limits and supports other team members in this area (40%)
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts – 50+ calls a day (60%)
  • Substantial experience reconciling accounts
  • Administer the dispute/deduction process
  • Assist with the management of bad debt, bankruptcy and legal accounts
  • Some business related college course work required or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of a progressive credit experience with large public companies
  • Must have experience with Oracle
